Covering 1,250 m² of floor space, spread over two storeys, the enormous range of training options ensures there’s something for even the most avowed critic of weight training. The fitness centre was designed and furnished in collaboration with fit&wellness concept GmbH. At the Migros fitness centre, claims that this type of training takes up too much time are also no longer viable. Individually programmed chip cards automatically adjust the training equipment to the settings specified in the clients’ personal training plans. Clients can also participate in the 22 different classes on offer in the spacious (130 m²) and light-flooded group exercise room. The course programme is regularly updated in accordance with client preferences. For those who wish to enjoy a well-earned reward after their strenuous training, the fitness centre provides a large sauna and relaxation area.

HARO parquet boasts excellent durability and features surprising touches

fit&wellness concept GmbH has opted for HARO parquet in a range of different health and fitness projects. The flooring chosen for the Migros fitness centre was HARO Longstrip African Oak Tundra brushed with naturaLin surface. The vivid and vibrant look of the African Oak Tundra stems from its natural proportion of sapwood. Thanks to this flooring, the main training room radiates a particularly inviting atmosphere. Accentuating the wood’s colour and appearance, the brushed naturaLin natural oil finish is completely free of any harmful substances. In the group exercise room, with full-length mirrors on the walls, specialists have installed the Helsinki ECO Top sports floor, also in African Oak Tundra. The special elastic coating of this sports floor protects the joints during strenuous workouts.

fit&wellness concept’s uniform design has given the relaxation area a special flair of its own. Lined completely with HARO Longstrip African Oak Tundra, the atmospheric lighting in the room conjures up the impression of a snug log cabin in the forest.
