Hamburg-Winterhude – New apartments and shops are being erected on about 4.500 m² of space on the site of the former Barmbek rail freight terminal. The former commercial area is being used for apartments as part of the project “Stadtpark Quartier” (City Park Quarter). Not far from the popular Hamburg City Park, a new residential area is arising on the site of the former Barmbek rail freight terminal. People are already clambering to move into the area. As part of the project called “Stadtpark Quartier”, a new building with about 100 rental apartments was constructed, offering plenty of space for Hamburg lovers. The property has about 100 parking places in an underground car park and about 880 m² of retail space on the ground floor.
